The first radio broadcast of a football match took place in 1912. Professor FWS springer set up an experimental radio station, telephone number 9X1-WLB, from which he broadcast his home game at the University of Minnesota to a small audience. There was no separate radio broadcast of the Texas A&M-Texas football game until 1920, largely due to wartime restrictions. KDKA, along with announcer Harold Arlin, televised a game between the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University known as the “Backyard Brawl” in 1921. It was a commercially supported game.
The 1922 game between the University of Chicago and Princeton University, touted as “the greatest game of the century,” was the first telecast. Greetings at Chicago’s Stagg Field were broadcast to WEAF (owned by AT&T) in New York and then to fans on the East Coast. WEAF also built a truck in Park Row, Manhattan. This truck used a radio receiver to operate the public address system, to the delight of the street crowd. The publication of these and other interregional competitions helped make football a national sport.
Television
In the same year, television broadcasts of football and baseball began. Youth citizenship experimented with the media during exercises at Fordham University and Long Island University in early 1939, with Bill Stern pointing the finger at Mike. The first television transmission between Fordham and Waynesburg University took place at Triboro Stadium on Randall Island. 1939. The audience of the game’s 9,000 fans was probably four to five times larger than the television audience. An Iconoscope camera positioned at the 40-yard line returned a still image of a moving player. The player looked small as he walked across the field and tall as he approached the camera.
In less than a month, the first professional game (Brooklyn Dodgers – Philadelphia Eagles) was broadcast from Ebbets Field to fewer than 1,000 sets in the New York area. The two Iconoscope cameras (one on the mezzanine and the other at the 50-yard line) are images that are obscured by a cloud cover as the game progresses until Youth citizenship returns to radio. As part of the experiment, the Brooklyn coaches used a monitor to get a better view of the game.
In 1940, the Philco Radio and Television Company broadcast every University of Pennsylvania home game on two Orthicon cameras, one every 25 yards. One zoomed in with a telephoto lens. With the exception of WWII, Penn will publish the game for the next ten years. In 1949, Notre Dame signed an exclusive publishing deal with Chevrolet as a commercial sponsor in Korean (and among Catholics across the country), with tremendous support from Dumont. Many schools feared that 해외스포츠중계would reduce viewership, but this created an enduring link between football and television.

The instant replay was performed during a football game (an Army-Navy game on December 7, 1963) after Army quarterback Rollie Stichweb hit the ball from the two-yard line. CBS director Tony Vera requested video of the landing. The replay went well and Vera said, “Oh, okay!” it made him scream. The soccer beat proved perfect for instant replays. Alternate between intense moments of action that are difficult to understand in real-time and long pauses that provide the perfect moment to familiarize you with the previous game. When Ampex Corporation introduced the first VCR to the National Association of Broadcasters in 1956, they worked with ABC to develop a system that would allow 30 seconds of playback in 4 seconds. The system included three slow-motion speeds and the ability to freeze frames. This technology will soon spread to other branches of sport.

ESPN introduced the first and tenth systems during the 1998 Super Bowl. That year, Stan Honey left Fox to become the founder of Sports Vision. The system draws a virtual yellow line on the soccer field to show the first underline. In this case, since the target is fixed, its position can only be calculated using a television camera. However, due to the unique terrain of each soccer field and the curvature of a sharp focal length, it is difficult to draw a virtual line that appears parallel to the actual subway line at the same elevation as the field.
